WORKSHOP: Navigating the Psychology of Food

Food is our friend, enemy, coping mechanism, and necessary for life. It can cause struggles, confusion, self-loathing, and rumination....but why? Why would something as innocent as a pizza, produce such emotional pain?

If you struggle with food restriction, diet culture, or emotional eating, this workshop is for you! Topics will include; exploring our relationship with food in our culture, lives, and society. We will explore the failures of diets and how diets have failed us. We will breakdown popular ways of eating today including the sinister influences of "clean eating" and other health promotion messages that undermine our mental and physical health. You will benefit from the support and connection only group can provide and walk away with tools, strategies, and resources that could lead to a healthier relationship with food and body.
