COURSE: Body Image & Aging

It's common to read about body image on social media, books, and even workshops, but there is one unexplored realm related to body...aging!  How does one navigate the changes to our body as we move into our 40s, 50s, and beyond? Aging is not for the faint of heart and because of this, we are offering a 2 part workshop to explore this and offer skills/strategies to mitigate the negative emotional affect of wrinkles, weight gain, and hair loss (just to name a few).

This group will focus on aging, body image, fat, loss of identity/youth, and much more! This workshop combines psycho-education on loss, body image, eating, and exercise as it relates to aging. Additionally, we will be speaking to the hormonal shifts that are a part of pre/post menopause.  Participants will benefit from the support and connectivity that comes from group work and will take away strategies, tools, and resources to move into the next decade well.

This workshop is designed to leave space for practice and exploration between sessions while providing tools related to health and clinical psychology (including pages of resources) that will help support your aging body, mind, and soul.
